Our Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a person with or without a disability who has contributed greatly through their volunteer efforts at Disability Network over the past year. This year’s Volunteer of the Year is Stephen Bristow. Bristow was a key part of getting Disability Network’s Accessible Computer Lab up and running; Bristow also volunteers as a receptionist in the Kalamazoo office and is involved with two disability advocacy groups for Disability Network. Board member Cheri Stoltzner said, “Stephen would do anything we ask; I’ve even seen him help a customer fix their scooter a time or two.”
