Brochure for Ramp Up Program (pdf) Our Ramp Up program began in 2002 and has built over 50 ramps, resulting in greater freedom and independence for the people receiving ramps. Ramp Up changes people's lives, and can result in people not having to enter a nursing facility. Our Ramp Up program is made up of volunteer builders from First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo, Haven Reformed Church, Centerpoint church, and Westwood Reformed Church. Ramp Up is funded in part by the City of Kalamazoo's CDBG funds, Greater Kalamazoo United Way, the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.
