Zak Weckel joined our team on January 5 and is working in our Berrien/Cass office as an Information & Referral Specialist. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He has worked for Beacon, Berrien Center as a direct support staff and interned at Ottawa County Community Mental Health. Zac has volunteered at Versiti, Inc. blood donation center, has been a member of The OutCenter in Benton Harbor and created the first Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) club in Berrien Springs High School.
Zac is a great addition to our I&R team – he enjoys working with people and is enthusiastic about putting his experience to good work in his community. Please join us in welcoming Zac to Disability Network Southwest Michigan.
