Position Title: Advocacy Coordinator

This position is responsible for leading and coordinating advocacy and systems change activities in our eight county service area. The person will develop and nurture disability community participation and leadership through effective community organizing and disability rights advocacy. Additional responsibilities include leveraging and supporting CIL staff, volunteers, and customers in disability rights and systems advocacy activities and developing relationships with community partners to coordinate and enhance systems change efforts. As a member of the Advocacy & Community Education team this person will participate in policy advocacy, community education trainings and workshops, and ADA technical assist activities.

This is a full time (40 hour/week) position based in our Kalamazoo office but covering all 8 Counties in our service area.
