Disability Network Southwest Michigan kicked off this year’s Ramp-a-Thon at our ADA Celebration event last Friday. Thank you to everyone who was able to make a donation on Friday to help us reach our goal of $10,000.!

Ramp-a-Thon supports our “Ramp Up” program which builds or purchases ramps for people with mobility disabilities throughout our area. Ramps are expensive and many of the people who need them most are on a fixed income. The dollars needed for materials and labor to build or install ramps presents a barrier to people with disabilities trying to live independently at home and be part of their community.

The Ramp Up program allows us to pool resources from donations of any size and put every dollar to good use. No donation is too big or too small! Every dollar helps fund another foot of lumber or box of screws or a joist hanger. Please consider a Ramp-a-Thon donation of any amount.

Please use the button below to make your on-line donation or contact Kristen Potts (269-345-1516 x119) in our Kalamazoo office for other donation methods.
