DESCRIPTION:This year is the 33rd anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)! \n\n\n\nDisability Network Southwest Michigan holds an annual event each July to celebrate the landmark legislation which granted rights and provided independence to so many people. This year\, Disability Network’s celebration will be back at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market for an in-person get together with lunch and games. Registration is available below. Please join us! \n\n\n\nFriday\, July 28\, 2023 at 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM \n\n\n\nKalamazoo Farmers Market at 1240 Bank Street\, Kalamazoo\, MI 49001 \n\n\n\nEvent Details\n\n\n\nThere is plenty of free\, accessible parking available at the Farmers Market. \n\n\n\nLunch will be served starting at 11:30 AM\, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. \n\n\n\nA short program will take place at 12:00 PM and recipients of the Bob Davis Independent Living Award will be recognized. Yard games and ADA Trivia will be available for those who want to participate. \n\n\n\nAccommodations\n\n\n\nAn ASL Interpreter will be present.
