Did you know there are three ways you can financially support Disability Network Southwest Michigan just by shopping! When you purchase something at Amazon.com or shop at Harding’s or SpartanNash stores (D&W & Family Fare in our area), you can direct them to donate a portion of your bill to Disability Network Southwest Michigan. It doesn’t require any additional funds out of your wallet – the stores direct THEIR funds to us.
Here’s How it Works:
Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. AmazonSmile is the same products, prices and service as the Amazon you know, it simply provides them with a way to support a charitable organization while you shop. To designate Disability Network as your charitable organization, go to Smile.Amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon logon; go to Accounts & Lists on the menu and select “Your AmazonSmile” in the drop down. Go to the “pick your own charitable organization” and enter Disability Network Southwest Michigan; click “search” and then click “select” next to our name. Now you are all set! Just be sure to login to Smile.Amazon.com from now on when you shop online – this will automatically direct a donation from Amazon to Disability Network based on your purchases!
Harding’s Market offers a Community Rewards Program. First you’ll need to visit their website to sign up to designate Disability Network Southwest Michigan as your Community Rewards recipient. Then when you shop at Harding’s simply enter your phone number in their system at checkout and a portion of your purchase dollars will be donated to us. To sign up, go to the Community Rewards page of Harding’s website and sign up for e-coupons (which will register you for coupons in their store); then click the icon in the menu bar that looks like a little head & shoulders and select My Profile; then click the Community Rewards tab and use the dropdown to designate Disability Network Southwest Michigan. You only have to do this initial set up procedure once. After that you’ll just need to enter your phone number at the register when you pay – this will redeem your e-coupons, saving you money, and also direct a donation from Harding’s to Disability Network.
D&W and Family Fare in Southwest Michigan are part of the SpartanNash grocery store chain. Simply save your receipts and send them to us. It’s THAT easy! You’ll notice on your receipt there’s a section at the bottom that says “Direct Your Dollars” and it shows the amount of your purchase that qualifies toward the program. When we’ve collected $150,000 in Direct Your Dollars receipts SpartanNash will donate $1000 to Disability Network.
