Overview of laws protecting people with disabilities

Join us for this all-new workshop!

Different laws cover different areas of protection for people with disabilities. For instance, discrimination in the workplace may not be covered by the same law as discrimination in housing or education. When advocating for your rights, it’s very helpful to know which laws cover you under different areas.

It’s important to know your rights. In this workshop we will be discussing the laws which protect people with disabilities in the areas of:
Employment
• Housing
• Education ( K-12 & post-secondary)
• Public Places / Access
• Voting
• Transportation
