June is Pride Month. Queer disabled people have made important contributions to advancing both LGBTQIA+ rights and disability rights, but the intersection of these civil rights movements is often overlooked. In this presentation, we will examine the parallels and connections between the two movements and learn the stories of the LGBTQIA+ disabled people who helped shape them both.
