We are proud to welcome Kelley Kellis (she/her) as the new President & CEO of Disability Network Southwest Michigan. A lifelong resident of southwest Michigan, Kelley brings a strong connection to our region and deep experience in building equitable, people-centered systems. Her background includes leadership with the Fair Housing Center of Southwest Michigan, philanthropic work with the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, roles in higher education at Kellogg Community College, and a number of years of service with Kalamazoo County Government.
Kelley is also a lifelong ally to people with disabilities. She believes firmly that nothing should stand in the way of someone living, working, playing, going to school, succeeding, or contributing to society—and that everyone has the right to be fully included. Her values align closely with our mission: We are people with disabilities advancing justice, access, and inclusion for the Disability Community.

“I’m beyond excited to lead an organization that puts disability rights and lived experience at the heart of its work,” Kelley stated. “I believe deeply in our collective power to build a future where people with disabilities lead, shape, and thrive in every part of society and am proud to support a mission that puts those values into action every day.”
Kelley holds a Bachelor’s in Spanish from Michigan State University and a Master’s of Public Administration from Western Michigan University. We’re excited for what’s ahead as we work together to advance our mission and vision. Please join us in welcoming Kelley as we begin this exciting new chapter.
