Americans with Disabilities Act Anniversary Celebration 33

This year is the 33rd anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)!

Disability Network Southwest Michigan holds an annual event each July to celebrate the landmark legislation which granted rights and provided independence to so many people. This year, Disability Network’s celebration will be back at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market for an in-person get together with lunch and games. Registration is available below. Please join us!

Event Details

There is plenty of free, accessible parking available at the Farmers Market.

Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 AM, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.

A short program will take place at 12:00 PM including the recipients of the Bob Davis Independent Living Award being recognized. Yard games and ADA Trivia will be available for those who want to participate.

An ASL Interpreter will be present. You are welcome to share any other accommodation needs through the registration page.
