We recently welcomed Sasha Boersma to our board of directors. Sasha is an attorney with Conybeare Law Office practicing Social Security & Veterans Disability Law and Worker’s Compensation. Her skills led to her selection to the inaugural edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch 2021 and 2022. She was also selected to the 2021 Michigan Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers.
Sasha is native of Berrien County. She received her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and earned her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.
Outside of work, Sasha volunteers in her community to advance political and social issues that are important to her. One of her favorite ways to give back is judging mock trial competitions for high school, college, and law students. She received the 2020 Volunteer of the Year award for her work with mock trial competitions. Sasha also serves as the chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Berrien County Bar Association and the chair of the Community Outreach Committee of the Van Buren County Bar Association.
